Shape-based Gomoku

Shape Gomoku is a turn-based strategy game for PC built around Gomoku, but its winning patterns aren’t limited to a straight line. You and your opponent take turns placing stones on a board, trying to complete target shapes made from five stones of your color. Targets include patterns such as a boot, butterfly, or flower, so you’ll need to watch the board for both your own chances and the shapes your opponent is building.

Before a match, pick from 12 built-in patterns or have the game choose targets for you. Matches can use one to six targets and different board sizes. You can keep each pattern in its pictured orientation, or allow rotations and mirrored versions. The setup also lets you choose whether patterns are fixed or can transform during play.
