SGS Imjin War

The Epic Conflict of SGS Imjin War

SGS Imjin War takes players back to one of the most intense conflicts in East Asian history, the invasion of the Joseon kingdom of Korea by Japanese forces from 1592 to 1598. This strategy game puts you in command during this turbulent period, where the stakes are high, and decisions could alter the course of history. Control the might of the Samurai or defend the rich culture of Korea, with both sides aiming for dominance of the peninsula.

Strategic Gameplay and Turn Structure

The game features a Grand Campaign scenario lasting up to 105 turns, each representing a week from May 1592 to April 1594. Players can also engage in smaller scenarios that cover key events of the conflict, including the second invasion in 1598. Managing resources and troop placements is critical; the Japanese player must push against a resilient Korean defense while battling logistical challenges and the elements.
