Scriven Mage

Handwritten spellcasting

Scriven Mage is a VR spellcasting game for PC where you write Chinese characters in the air to cast spells. The game reads your handwriting stroke by stroke, then triggers the effect when you finish a character. Write 火 for fire or 冰 to freeze.

You build a personal spellbook and combine spells with shapes and modifiers. Writing with both hands at once can trigger fusion casts, and dozens of combo recipes are there to discover. Handwriting recognition works offline, without an internet connection.
