Game premise and mechanics

Screamcorp is an asymmetric multiplayer game where players take on the roles of monsters or kids. The goal for the monsters is to scare real player-controlled kids until they scream. Conversely, kids must avoid getting caught by the monsters and triggering a scream. Players can use proximity voice chat, which influences the game's mechanics, as speaking loudly can reveal a kid's location to the monster.

Roles and objectives

In the game, players can choose to be either a monster or a kid. As a monster, you enter a house and search for kids while trying to make them scream through jumpscares. Kids must hide and remain quiet to avoid detection. If a kid successfully knocks out the monster, they have the opportunity to enter the facility and sabotage it from within, adding a layer of strategy to both roles.
