The World of Schism: A Garbage-Strewn Future

In Schism, the distant future is a bleak wasteland, littered with garbage and devoid of its crucial power source: the Schismatic Engine. As a prisoner stranded at the peak of a towering trash mountain, your mission is clear yet daunting. It’s your job to find the lost Engine. With a crash landing that leaves you scrambling for survival, you’re equipped only with a subpar replica of the Engine and a poorly made firearm. Freedom is the ultimate prize, but survival is the first hurdle.

Evolving Your Character in the Action Roguelike

Character advancement is at the forefront of Schism's design. Players have eight main stats to invest in, enhancing their abilities as they progress. Beyond the primary stats, an overwhelming array of secondary stats awaits, offering countless ways to tailor your character. Players can also unlock over 230 relics that provide synergistic effects, giving a unique twist to each run. The depth here invites experimentation, allowing for builds that can adapt to the chaotic RNG inherent in roguelikes.
