Game premise

Sarco is a horror game where players must maintain visual contact with a sarcophagus that contains an ancient being. The goal is to prevent the sarcophagus from opening by keeping it in view, as it will gradually open if players look away. The gameplay revolves around this central mechanic, requiring exploration of an abandoned research complex to find a way to permanently stop the entity within.

Exploration and resource management

As you navigate through the complex, you will face limitations such as running out of oxygen. Each step taken away from the sarcophagus poses a risk, as you may not be able to return without consequences. This creates a constant tension throughout the game, where you must balance your exploration while ensuring that the sarcophagus remains closed.
