Classic 2D Shmup Action in Rysen

Rysen brings back the nostalgia of old-school 2D shoot 'em up (shmup) gameplay, delivering an engaging experience for fans of the genre. Set across seven stages per round, the game invites players to master the art of dodging enemy fire while strategically taking out formations. Players won't find a bullet-hell scenario here; instead, Rysen emphasizes simple mechanics and straightforward actions, making it approachable for both veterans and newcomers alike.

Direct Input and XInput Support for Seamless Play

Compatibility is key in Rysen, as it supports both DirectInput and XInput controllers. You can easily switch between using a keyboard or a gamepad, allowing for a personalized experience on PC. This flexibility is complemented by the ability to adjust settings, such as the dead zone for analog sticks when using an XInput gamepad. With options for key re-mapping and assistance messages, players can configure their control scheme to their liking.
