Rustbound

An island in decline

Rustbound is a PC action-adventure game in development, set on Su-Atlu, a tropical island where a red affliction called the Rust is spreading. You play as Aten, a wanderer who wakes on an idyllic beach with no memory of arriving. The island’s dying god tasks Aten with finding four lost guardian spirits, the Arkanai, whose souls are needed to revive it.

The Rust has driven the island’s once-docile Mechafauna into a frenzy and is pushing the clever Teronaita toward madness. Aten’s search for the Arkanai is also a search for what happened to the island and how the Rust can be stopped.
