Surviving a Post-Apocalyptic World in Running on Empty

Running on Empty invites players into its stark, post-apocalyptic realm where survival hinges on resources and decision-making. This role-playing game flaunts a nostalgic 64x64 pixel art style, evoking the aesthetic of classic titles while layering in complex mechanics. As the lone protagonist, your mission is straightforward: retrieve a vital package from a distant location, navigating a world filled with danger and despair.

Resource Management: A Key Player in the Wasteland

Managing resources is crucial in this barren landscape. Players will need to carefully allocate supplies, such as food and weapons, to make it through hostile territories and difficult encounters. Each choice can lead to different outcomes, forcing you to consider the consequences of your actions. Limited supplies can make every decision a matter of life and death, intensifying the challenge as you traverse the desolate environments.
