Return of the Obra Dinn

The Dark Mystery of the Obra Dinn

Return of the Obra Dinn places players in the role of an insurance investigator charged with understanding the fate of a ship lost at sea. The game begins with the mysterious arrival of the once-magnificent vessel, which has returned to port in Falmouth seemingly devoid of crew. Your mission is to uncover the truth behind its disappearance, using logic and exploration as your primary tools.

A Unique Investigation Mechanic

As a first-person mystery adventure, the gameplay relies heavily on exploration and deductive reasoning. Players board the Obra Dinn and must piece together what happened by examining the ship's interior, encountering remnants of its crew, and uncovering clues from various scenes. Each setting reveals key moments, and it’s your job to ascertain how each individual perished or vanished, using the clues scattered throughout the ship's haunting remains.
