Red Crayon means Poppies

A drawing game in Graukzastan

Red Crayon means Poppies is a narrative drawing game about freelance artists working under an authoritarian regime. You take jobs in the home country of Graukzastan and draw to earn money, while the Ministry watches what you make and its censor judges your work.

Jobs and supplies

You need to finish jobs quickly and manage your budget. Spend your earnings on supplies such as new pens, and be wary of the Ministry’s scrutiny as you work. The game uses hand-drawn pixel graphics and a visual recognition system.
