RC driving from a sim rig

RCSIM - Radio Control & Sim-Racing Bridge is a PC tool for controlling real-world RC cars with sim-racing hardware. You steer from a sim rig, use FPV goggles for the car’s camera feed, and get force feedback from onboard IMU gyro sensors, which report curbs, bumps and traction loss to your wheel.

Controls and connections

The game supports Direct Drive bases, Logitech, Thrustmaster, Fanatec and Moza hardware, as well as load-cell pedals, gamepads and joysticks. Connection options range from sending control signals through a 3.5mm audio cable plugged into an RC radio’s trainer port, to USB serial adapters, Wi-Fi ESP32 hardware and direct USB CRSF transmission through ExpressLRS equipment. The listed setups also include a Raspberry Pi 5 with Hailo-8 NPU acceleration and LiDAR SLAM navigation.
