Ragnarok: Yggdrasil

Faction warfare in Midgard

Ragnarok: Yggdrasil is a PC MMO and strategy game set in Midgard, where six divine clans fight over the fate of a withering World Tree. You choose a clan, work with a guild, and take part in large-scale wars across a sandbox map.

The map contains 76 cities and 30 passes, arranged from starter zones through resource heartlands to the core. You can build alliances or betray rivals, then fight over territory and lay siege to cities. The game describes battles with up to 300 players on screen at once.
