Missions and research

QSO7 is a PC space exploration game set in the far future, after a catastrophe. You complete missions, solve puzzles and communicate with other species to collect artifacts. Researching those artifacts gives you access to technology for upgrading your gear.

Ships and upgrades

You use three types of ships for different tasks. Defender/Assaulter ships defend or attack other factions’ cores and travel through hyperspace. Scavengers take you into inhospitable places such as supernovae and black holes. Landers reach planet surfaces, where you gather chemical elements to upgrade your gear.
