Prosecutor Absolution is a PC game about working as a Deputy Chief Prosecutor in the late-1990s state of Davelia, where corporations control the market and the law serves the state. You review cases, decide whether defendants are guilty, and choose their sentences. Your stated goal is to pay off your mortgage, but convictions bring income at the cost of your conscience and reputation.

Cases and verdicts

Study case reports, listen to the accused, and look for contradictions before deciding whom to believe. You can acquit a defendant, give them a suspended sentence, or send them to prison. Guilty verdicts earn money, while overly harsh verdicts damage your reputation. If it falls to zero, you’ll be sent to prison yourself.
