As you start from the lowest ranks of the fierce gladiatorial hierarchy, your mission is to build a legacy amid the blood-soaked sands of provincial arenas. You'll recruit a squad of unique gladiators, manage your Ludus, and vie against rival factions to earn your place in the Emperor’s Colosseum.

As you advance through the ranks, encounters with the Emperor introduce new stakes. When the Crowd Pulse rises, the verdict of thumb held high or low is a true game changer. The Emperor's favor brings blessings like healing or divine boosts, while disapproval may release deadly traps into the arena. Prepare carefully for each fight to dominate your foes.

FORGING RIVALS ON YOUR ASCENT

The journey to become the ultimate champion isn’t solo. Competing against eight other Rival Luduses, every step is fraught with drama and intrigue. A dynamic leaderboard tracks your progress relative to others. You may form temporary alliances with merchants or face betrayal from foes who will scheme to undermine your victories. Engage in high-stakes wagers against rival trainers, risking hard-earned resources for glory, gear, or even your enemies' best gladiators.

Equip your army of fighters by collecting and upgrading hundreds of gear pieces inspired by Roman history. Gear not only enhances your squad but can also provide Set Bonuses that deliver powerful stat boosts. Devote time to hunt for these sets and pay visits to the Blacksmith to ensure your weapons shine with the glory of a true Primus champion.
