Primetime Overkill

Arena combat

Primetime Overkill is a PC action game about Contestant #0451, whose face and reruns belong to VOXZERO Entertainment Holdings. You fight through a flooded back street as the network films you for its show, taking on robots, cyborgs and rival contestants who signed their contracts without reading them. The camera watches from above, and enemies pour out of the alleys.

Four weapon drones hover over your shoulders and fire on their own. You handle close combat, starting with a mono-katana and later getting a rocket hammer. Click for a combo or hold for a heavy swing. Dash through an attack at the last moment to trigger a slow-motion shot for the broadcast.
