A first-person horror game

Please Remain Dead is a first-person horror game about pretending to be a corpse while a woman in scrubs examines you. You control your body: hold your breath when her instrument touches your chest, let your arm hang limp when she lifts it, and keep your eyes still when she shines a torch at them. Each check has its own rule, and a mistake can give you away.

The examiner's attention

A small box shows where the examiner is looking. If she spots something wrong, she pauses to stare, then checks you more closely, with actions such as pressing a palm to your stomach, tightening a strap or holding a hammer over you. She remembers what she sees, so you have to keep still when she's watching.
