Phylactery Slayer is a 2D action roguelike where players navigate a fully destructible world made of pixels. You control a cursed hunter shaped as a cluster of particles, capable of movement that interacts dynamically with the environment. The objective is to explore dungeons, defeat enemies, and master spells while managing the consequences of permadeath, which is central to the game's structure.

Destructible environment

The game features a terrain that is entirely excavatable. Every wall and surface can be broken or reshaped at the atomic level. You can carve tunnels, create shortcuts, or set traps using your digging tools, including a free chisel, wide chisel, pickaxe, ramp, and staircase. The terrain retains the impact of your actions, affecting future exploration and strategy.
