A climb through the Monolith
Perilous Pairs is a short action roguelike for PC. You play as an Aphid who leaves a life of toil in the shadows of the Monolith and climbs toward its Creator. You’ll dodge and hop through three boss fights, matching cards to activate abilities as you try to survive.
Cards and combat
The Monolith’s battlefield shifts between runs, with randomized board layouts. More than 18 cards have abilities you can activate by matching them, so memory matters alongside quick movement. After each fight, choose one item upgrade. Items can improve your health, deflect bullets, or provide guiding light.
