Grid-based auto-battling

Payload Architect is a PC roguelite auto-battler built around arranging Code Blocks on a Grid and making their effects scale. You start each run with a blank layout, buy Blocks, and place them to link global effects with local adjacency bonuses. The aim is to build a Payload through automated execution cycles before you run out of Reboots.

Building and execution

Once your Grid is arranged, you fire a Trigger. An Instruction Pointer travels through the layout and executes Blocks in sequence. You decide where Blocks go and when they run, and can route execution through Control Structure Blocks to create loops. Stateful Operators scale as a run progresses, letting connected effects grow over repeated cycles.
