A wuxia RPG in Baishidu

Pay To Slay is a single-player, top-down wuxia action RPG for PC. You arrive in Baishidu Village as an ordinary martial artist, with no famous school behind you, and are handed an interest-bearing bill tied to a registration number whose previous holder died at the canal’s last lock gate. In the Daqian dynasty, the throne has been bought and public services have price lists, from ferry crossings to water.

The opening chapter follows six connected main quests through the riverside village and the Old Canal Works beneath it, with side stories along the way. Contractors have sealed the canal for maintenance, stopping the ferries and water mill while the clinic runs short of water. Two canal workers are trapped inside, and a guard waits at the last lock gate.
