Pawsweeper

A round-grid Minesweeper

Pawsweeper is a PC puzzle game about treating cats at a crowded shelter. You check their fur patch by patch, using Minesweeper logic to find ticks, fleas, and other hazards hidden on a round grid. Numbers show how much danger is nearby, but round cells have different numbers of neighbors, so familiar Minesweeper patterns don't always apply.

Patients and mistakes

Cats respond differently to being examined. Some sit still, while others flinch at the first touch of the net, and you have to work around their behavior. Every safe click earns money. A mistake gives the patient a new condition, and that condition doesn't clear itself when the appointment ends.
