Real-time counterinsurgency

PATROL is a real-time tactics game for PC about modern counterinsurgency. You choose high-value targets from an intelligence board, then send squads to find and capture them. Each theater is procedurally generated, with places such as dense towns, walled compounds, river valleys and desert roads.

Targets differ in how they respond. Some are guarded behind walls, some flee when they hear you, and others travel in armed convoys or want to surrender. A CIA team can work undercover to build a picture of the target before you decide how to raid: quietly, at night, or quickly and loudly.
