Game premise and mechanics

PAPPUS is a space colony simulation game for PC where players oversee feline colonists tasked with establishing new habitats across various planets. You function as an advanced artificial intelligence unit guiding a crew of volunteer cats under the PAPPUS Program (Planetary Acquisition and Population Propagation Under Supervision). Players must build and manage resources, construct structures, and oversee the development of a new colony starting from basic setups like campfires.

Building and survival

When landing on a new planet, you adapt from nothing by constructing farms, workshops, and power sources. Each planet features distinct seasons that impact crop growth and other environmental factors. You also manage a research tree that allows you to advance from primitive technologies to more complex machinery, continually improving your colony's infrastructure.
