Game premise and mechanics

Palette Panic is a puzzle game where players must defeat marching enemies by hitting them with balls of their corresponding colors. Players can create new colors by combining two different balls on the table using a silver cue ball. For example, knocking red into yellow will produce an orange ball, which can then be used to hit enemies. The game requires careful planning and timing, as different enemies present unique challenges and behaviors.

Enemies and challenges

Enemies in the game exhibit various tactics that complicate the player's task. Some, like ghosts, become invisible, while chameleons change colors frequently. Other enemies, such as scorpions, can seize balls that get too close. The player must time their shots accurately to counteract these threats, as enemies that reach the player's side of the table will deplete the life bar, leading to a loss of the level.
