Turn-based tactics

Pactmage - Chess Roster is a PC turn-based tactics game built around battles between units with chess-like positioning. You choose where to place units and whom to target, while managing each unit’s HP, role, skill, and passive. Timing and elemental matchups also affect the outcome.

Elements and recruits

The game uses seven elements: Water, Fire, Grass, Thunder, Ice, Wind, and Earth. Its matchup chart has advantages that deal 2× damage and disadvantages that deal 0.5× damage. Five roles, Fighter, Shooter, Mage, Tank, and Support, give units their own skills and passives.
