A strategy duel on a small board

Oustwit is a pure-strategy board game for PC, played as a duel on a 6×6 grid. Each player has eight pieces. On your turn, place a piece on an empty square; it pushes every neighboring piece one square away, unless another piece blocks the push. Pieces pushed off the board return to their owner’s hand and can be placed again.

Win by lining up three of your pieces horizontally, vertically or diagonally, or by getting all eight onto the board first. The pushes can help your opponent, too: if you shove their pieces into a line of three, they win. There are no dice, cards or hidden information.
