Ötzi

Prehistoric survival sandbox

Ötzi is a PC survival sandbox set in prehistoric times. You play as a man or a woman and manage hunger, thirst, rest, and body temperature. The playable setting is a Western European broadleaf forest, generated from real temperature and humidity data tied to terrestrial coordinates.

Gathering and crafting

You collect resources from the environment, pick objects up off the ground, and craft tools. Pick apples from trees, spear fish in a river, or hunt wild animals for meat and hide. You can sew the hide into clothes to protect yourself from cold and weather. To build structures, place objects into a building plan.
