On Paper is a single-player collecting and puzzle adventure for PC, set in the archive of a business owner who claims his company is legitimate. You play an agent of the Federal Cat Bureau of Investigation, searching shredded documents for evidence. The story follows the investigation as the confident businessman grows nervous.

Searching the archive

You walk through an anime-inspired, cel-shaded storage room filled with shelves, boxes and piles of shredded paper. Search each pile for tiny strips that belong together. Colour-coded margins and other visual clues help identify matching pieces. The search starts with a manageable pile, then opens up to larger heaps as the investigation advances.
