Ominous Descent

Solo and local co-op

Ominous Descent is a PC survival shooter where you control a submarine and fight through a trench alone or with a friend in local co-op. At least one controller is required for co-op. Each run is a race against the increasing danger: swarms grow in number and variety as you descend, and a boss appears every five minutes.

Energy-based combat

Your headlight, dash, and submarine ability all draw from the same energy meter. Creatures caught in the headlight take bonus damage. The dash thrusts you in a chosen direction and grants brief invulnerability, while each submarine has a powerful ability that can turn a fight around.
