Octopus Goulash

Discovering the Complex World of Octopus Goulash

Octopus Goulash isn’t just another video game; it transcends typical simulations to embody a living ecosystem where player choices directly influence an ever-evolving narrative. Set in a synthetic, decaying urban environment, this PC game invites players to explore Hub38, the last city on Earth, where both human existence and reality are slowly dissolving into the confines of vast datacenters.

Procedurally Generated Lives in a Crumbling City

Each inhabitant of Hub38 is procedurally generated at startup, endowed with unique personalities, jobs, and social connections. This vibrant system ensures that every non-player character (NPC) lives a life dictated by its role in the city, working, socializing, and interacting with other personalities. By engaging with these characters, players can impact their lives and stories, creating a vast network of relationships where each interaction holds weight and consequences.
