Genre and gameplay

Nyaginata is a 2D metroidvania-style game for PC, where you play as a frail kitten armed with a naginata. Your objective is to navigate through various environments while battling fierce enemies and overcoming obstacles. You face a one-hit mechanic, meaning that just one enemy attack can end your run. The gameplay emphasizes precise timing for attacks and navigation to progress through the world.

Areas and challenge rooms

The game includes three different areas, each filled with challenge rooms that consist of enemy mobs, puzzles, and bosses. You need to adapt your strategy to conquer these challenges, requiring both skill and quick reflexes. Each room presents distinct obstacles and foes that you must outwit to advance.
