Not in Order

A night train inspection

Not in Order is a first-person psychological horror game for PC, set aboard a French night train in September 1911. You arrive after the night shift has begun, carrying a ticket punch and wearing a uniform. Your job is to walk through the train, inspect passengers and check that their tickets match the records.

You travel in one direction, from carriage to carriage toward the head carriage. There’s no combat or weapons, and the game has no interface. Inspections come down to deciding whether a passenger is in order or should be reported.
