Fortress strategy

Neon Bastion is an arcade strategy game for one to four players, built around arming and repairing a ring-shaped fortress between waves. You spend energy on cannons inside the ring, then aim each shot yourself as you attack rival fortresses and compete for the highest score.

Each cannon has a different role. Rapid fires quickly to break walls, Mortar lobs shells over walls and damages cannons with its splash, and Lance fires a beam through up to three walls in a line. Fortify raises a shield after taking three hits. Filling all eight slots around your bastion makes your guns cool faster, but every shot builds heat, so you have to choose targets and manage your firing.
