Needle: The 1% Challenge

A yard full of hay

Needle: The 1% Challenge is a PC game about searching a building-sized haystack for a needle. You’re trapped in a walled yard, and the needle is the only way to open the door. The work is done handful by handful: you pick up hay, carry it to a conveyor and feed it into a machine that pays you.

Tools and upgrades

Spend the machine’s earnings at an equipment shop with no one behind the counter. You start with bare hands and can work up from tongs to a hay vacuum. A bigger backpack and an upgraded conveyor help you move and process hay, while a metal detector points toward the needle but doesn’t find it for you. Nothing digs on your behalf.
