My Octopus Friend

Roguelite dives

My Octopus Friend is a cozy, kid-friendly action roguelite for PC about a small octopus searching for four lost Glyphs to restore the Lagoon’s light. Each run takes you through rooms in one of nine seas, including coral gardens, a shipwreck, a frozen shelf, a sunken palace and volcanic vents. The rooms change between runs, and you choose which path to take when the current splits.

You can play as one of 16 octopi and switch between eight weapons, including an ink jet and a tentacle whip. Nine guardians stand between you and the Glyphs. After defeating a guardian or completing a trial, you choose one of two treasures shown on picture cards.
