My Captain, O' Captain

Science fiction story

My Captain, O' Captain is a science fiction narrative game for PC, told in the second person. You’re the captain of the Ice Pick, a small ship returning to Earth from a long-awaited space mission. During the trip, the ship’s operating system begins losing control.

The ship and its crew

As ship processes shut down, you have limited time to rally the crew and find a way to complete the mission. The central problem is keeping the ship functioning long enough to get home, while confronting a difficult choice about the mission. The story asks whether you can solve the problem or will have to choose the mission over returning safely.
