Mutants

Reliving the Retro Classic: Mutants

Mutants, originally unleashed in 1987, is a top-down shooter that marked its territory on home microcomputers. Developed by Ocean Software, players assume the role of a lone pilot in a scout ship tackling the insidious Macro-Genetic-Mutoids. These bio-engineered foes threaten mankind’s very existence. The remastered emulated version faithfully captures the essence of the original while introducing modern enhancements that breathe new life into the nostalgic gameplay.

Engage in Tactical Combat Across Diverse Worlds

Players can choose from an arsenal of weapons before embarking on their mission across 15 uniquely designed sectors. Each sector presents its own set of challenges, including tricky mazes, diverse enemies, and complex puzzles. The mechanics push players to strategize their approach to combat and exploration, making every decision impactful. Engaging with the Macro-Genetic-Mutoids feels immediate and visceral, echoing the intensity that players expected from classic PC shooters.
