Mom, I'm Really Learning English

Vocabulary card battles

Mom, I’m Really Learning English is a single-player, turn-based card battle game for PC built around vocabulary from China’s College English Test Band 4 and Band 6. You build a deck and fight enemies while encountering English words, Chinese definitions, and example sentences on the cards.

Taking turns

You and the enemy each have HP and a battle zone. On your turn, you can play a card from your hand into a battle position or use a magic card to affect the field. Summoned characters attack the opposing position automatically. If an enemy card is there, the two cards fight; if the position is empty, your character attacks the enemy directly. Card costs, available resources, placement, enemy cards, and skill effects all factor into your choices. Defeat the enemy’s main body to win.
