Missing Protocol

City contract

Missing Protocol is a PC game that combines narrative-driven, top-down isometric CRPG exploration with third-person survival horror. Set in America in 2045, during a second Gilded Age, it follows Markus, who leaves his PMC life for a civilian contract collecting high-value electronics from abandoned worksites before demolition.

By this point, AI and robotics have automated 95% of labor, leaving most people without a need to work. The internet and wireless communication have been shut down to keep AI from becoming rebellious and ravenous. While gathering electronics, Markus uncovers a conspiracy that grows as he finds more artifacts.
