Memory Traces: Japan

The Art of Memory-Restoring in Memory Traces: Japan

In Memory Traces: Japan, players engage in a captivating 3D puzzle game that revolves around the concept of restoring fragmented artifacts. This intriguing premise is inspired by Kintsugi, the traditional Japanese art of mending broken pottery. Not a realistic simulator, the game invites players to immerse themselves in a narrative that weaves art and memory recovery into a singular experience.

Unraveling the Story Behind San

At the heart of the game is San, an archeologist grappling with lost memories. To reclaim these fragments of his past, he seeks guidance from a therapist through hypnosis. During these sessions, players will explore Japan, a land that holds the key to San's forgotten history. This unique narrative framework adds depth to the puzzle-solving mechanics, as each artifact repaired symbolizes a piece of San's life being restored.
