Meltdown

Deck-building and global power

Meltdown is a political strategy deck-builder for PC, set against the climate pressures and international tensions of the twenty-first century. You lead a global power, building a deck around your nation’s strengths and goals while competing with other powers. The game has more than 200 card effects, and the available card market changes as the game progresses.

Cards can help you expand your influence, develop weapons, or respond to climate change. Their effects grow more intense over time and as tension and temperature rise. That escalation shapes your choices: fossil fuels, invasions, and precision strikes can increase the danger for everyone, while also making stronger responses available to the other players.
