Meat Block

Survival horror in Vakhovsk

Meat Block is a first-person survival horror game for PC, set in the quarantined Siberian city of Vakhovsk in November 2012. You enter the deserted city to reach its oil refinery and retrieve a sample. Apartment blocks, industrial sites and the infrastructure beneath the streets hold infected residents and workers, as well as clues to what Vakhovsk was hiding before the quarantine.

Routes through the city

The game’s major locations are self-contained levels, connected by nonlinear exploration and backtracking. You search apartment blocks, courtyards, basements and industrial facilities, study maps, find keys, solve puzzles and look for locked rooms and shortcuts. Returning to familiar places can open routes that were inaccessible before.
