Matryoshka

Game premise and objective

Matryoshka is a puzzle game where players inspect layers of Matryoshka dolls to determine if they are cursed. Your task is to examine each doll, layer by layer, looking for patterns that indicate a curse. If you identify a cursed doll, you must burn it to prevent the curse from affecting you. If you overlook a curse or burn an innocent doll, the game ends.

Layer inspection system

To inspect a doll, you split it into its upper and lower halves and then examine the pattern on each layer. You have to decide whether it matches the pattern of the previous layer. Each Matryoshka doll consists of eight layers. If a pattern changes compared to earlier layers, you should not proceed further and must burn the doll immediately.
