A support role in war

Marginalia is a PC hex-based tactical role-playing game about a Japanese convenience-store manager reborn in another world and taken in by a mercenary company. He isn’t a trained fighter. Instead, you run messages, haul supplies, secure retreats and plug gaps in a failing battle line.

Combat uses an interleaved turn order, with allies and enemies acting in the same sequence. A preview shows who moves next, so you can watch for a thinning flank or a threat behind the rain before deciding where to send your people. The job isn’t measured by kills: you can rescue and evacuate your wounded, and capture wounded enemies for their equipment.
