Magehold Fairwinds

Captain of the Tallow Hen

Magehold Fairwinds is a PC airship role-playing game about captaining the Tallow Hen, a patched-up freighter that owes the Carriers' Guild 120 silver. You fly through five acts and nine regions, from river docks and crystal cliffs to gnome clock-cities and the Crown Peak. At the far end lies the Hush Front, where magic is draining from the world. Voyages bring new charts, crew and decisions; captains who make it home can pay off the debt or keep the ship and run.

Ship combat

Fights play out in real time, with pause for issuing orders. The ship is divided into rooms, including the Helm, Drive, Battery Deck and Casting Room. You route Flow between rooms, assign guns to enemy targets, put out fires, patch breaches and try to get the Keel working before the ship sinks.
