Army battles on a grid

Lynehold is a PC strategy game about building an army on a placement grid and sending it to fight automatically. Each round plays out without direct control, so where you place units and how you prepare your lineup determine how the battle goes. Your goal is to push through to the enemy base.

Formations and upgrades

Positioning affects unit abilities. Group Footmen into a shield wall to raise their chance to block, place an Assassin alone to unlock a stealth attack, or put a Mage where it can shield a key unit. You draft a lineup, choose a specialization, then customize units with items, abilities and formation upgrades.
