Camp by day, defense by night

Lord of the S'mores is a PC survival strategy game about teenage Wilderness Scouts camping somewhere they shouldn’t be. By day, you manage a colony: scouts gather wood, water, stone and food, build the camp, and carry out their own work when you’re not directing them. At night, animals from nearby caves attack all at once, turning defense into tower defense. Towers fire on their own or with a scout posted on them, walls are built a quarter of the camp’s ring at a time, and every scout fights.

Dawn brings the costs of the night: upkeep, damage and a count of who’s still standing. Scouts who go down are knocked out and leave on the bus the next day. A scout with the medic badge can be kept in camp if there are enough herbs. Nobody dies, but a night can still cost you a scout, and the morning report remembers who was lost.
