Lianur: Shadows of the Divine

Story and setting

Lianur: Shadows of the Divine is a linear fantasy kinetic novel for PC. Demons and beings of light have shaped Lianur for centuries, and their conflict has become part of everyday life. Tharen has spent his life under the influence of the Shadow Crystal, doing what others ask of him. As his feelings, doubts, and independent will return, he has to reckon with what that influence means and with other people’s plans for his future.

Tharen is accompanied by Ziana, a warrior charged with protecting him, Azira, a healer, and Lazass, Azira’s reptilian companion. Their story takes them through coastal cities, hidden forests, and places marked by old conflicts. Duty, loyalty, freedom, and the cost of ending the war shape the group’s relationships and their choices.
